TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following Terms and Conditions have been prepared to help ensure that all Yoga Collective London Ltd’s Students benefit from our services. Yoga Collective London Ltd’s Terms and Conditions combined with our Privacy Policy form an agreement between ‘You’ and ‘Us’ in relation to the services we provide when using our website and attending our studio.
1. DEFINITION OF TERMS
1.1 ‘Yoga Collective’, ‘We’ or ‘Us’ means Yoga Collective London Ltd; trading as Yoga Collective;
1.2 ‘Class’ means a class or activity provided by Yoga Collective;
1.3 ‘Member’, ‘Student’ or ‘You’ means any person that has completed and submitted the registration form through Mindbody online (directly through the app or through www.yogacollective.uk) or within the studio;
1.4 ‘Studio’ means the location at which the class occurs: Yoga Collective, 2A Cornwall Road, Hatch End, Pinner, Middlesex HA5 4UH;
1.5 Yoga Collective reserves the right to vary and revoke the Terms and Conditions from time to time, which variations it may consider necessary for the regulation of affairs at the Studio and the conduct of its Members. Any changes will be notified to all Members and until revoked, are and will be binding to all Members;
1.6 By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you are granted a personal, limited privilege to enter and use our Studio without prejudice to our other rights, with immediate effect if you agree to the above. Should you disagree with the above, we ask you not to use any of our services.
2. MEMBERSHIPS
2.1 Prior to participating in any Class at Yoga Collective a registration form must have been completed and submitted;
2.2 Members personal information is held by our third party software host: Mindbody. More details can be found under our Privacy Policy;
2.3 By completing the Yoga Collective registration (online or in the studio) you are applying to become a Member of Yoga Collective;
2.4 Acceptance of a Member is at the sole discretion of Yoga Collective;
2.5 A person will cease to be a member if their membership is terminated under the outline Terms and Conditions stated here;
2.6 Yoga Collective reserves the right to expel anyone from the premises or terminate a membership and / or refuse to renew a membership to any person who fails to comply with the outlined Terms and Conditions.
3. PAYMENTS
3.1 All Classes must be paid for in advance;
3.2 Class prices are available on Yoga Collective website or in the studio. We reserve the right to change our prices from time to time for any reason and will notify Members of any changes within 30 days of doing so;
3.3 Payments for classes, class packages and workshops can be purchased online or at the Studio;

3.4 Class packages cannot be shared between Members;

3.5 No refunds are permitted on class packages (Introductory Offer, class packages or specials offers) or workshops;

3.6 Class packages expire after a set period or time:

Introductory Offer = 14 days from first visit / 1 month from date of purchase if not activated;

Drop in Class = 1 month from date of purchase;

5 x Class Package = 2 months from date of purchase;
-
10 x Class Package = 4 months from date of purchase;
-
1 Month Unlimited (no contract) = 1 month from date of purchase;
-
Yearly Membership (no contract) = 12 months from date of purchase;
3.7 Pay Monthly Memberships are set up in the Studio only and can be set up at anytime;

3.8 Credits on Mindbody accounts are permitted on workshops cancelled up to 14 days prior to the workshop date;
3.9 Retail items (clothes, yoga towels and accessories) at Yoga Collective are none refundable. An exchange is permitted on clothes only within 7 days of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights;
3.10 Our Introductory Offer is for new Students only. It can only be used once and purchased as your first class at the Studio.
4. BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS
4.1 Classes can be booked up to 28 days in advance, subject to availability;
4.2 Online booking can be made through Yoga Collectives website or the Mindbody app, subject to you completing a Membership form and you having an active membership or by paying for a one off drop-in session;
4.3 If you book a class or workshop and fail to turn up for that session, you will be charged as if you attended;
4.4 All members must sign in at reception prior to entering the class or workshop in question;
4.5 Booking and signing in can only be permitted using your own account / membership. Using a fellow members account / membership will be viewed as fraudulent activity and dealt with accordingly;
4.6 Should a member continuously ‘late cancel’, Yoga Collective reserves the right to remove members from future class;
4.7 Booking in advance of a class is advisable as class sizes are limited;
4.8 Class cancellations can be made through logging on to Yoga Collective website (www.yogacollective.uk) or through the Mindbody app;
4.9 Yoga Collective is unable to accept telephone or email cancellations;
4.10 Class cancellation can be made up until 1 hours of the class start time;
4.11 Cancellations made less then 1 hour prior to the class start time will be charged in full and classed as a ‘late cancellation’;
4.12 Yoga Collective may host 'Special Offers' or promotions throughout the year which may have different / temporary Terms and Conditions.
5. PAY MONTHY MEMBERSHIPS
5.1 The provision of this condition (5. Pay Monthly Memberships) only applies to those Members who have applied and been accepted for a Monthly Subscription – Balance Membership / Inspire Membership / Empower Membership;
5.2 Pay Monthly Memberships are to be paid on the 1st of every month by Auto Pay via the card provided by the member at the time of subscribing, to the Pay Monthly Membership;
5.3 Members who subscribe to this membership are entitled to attend the specific number of classes as outlined in their Pay Monthly Membership until their subscription is terminated;
5.4 Pay Monthly Memberships will automatically be terminated should a member fall behind on payments for in excess of 30 days and the member will be liable for the outstanding payment;
5.5. All Pay Monthly Memberships are to be taken for a minimum of 6 months. Should a member wish to cancel after 6 months, written notice must be email to info@yogacollective.uk at least 14 days prior to the next payment date;
5.6 Pay Monthly Memberships will automatically renew after 12 Months unless written notice is received, informing the Studio that the member wishes to terminate at the end of 12 Months. Written notice must be email to info@yogacollective.uk 14 days prior to the next payment date;
5.7 No refunds or exchanges are permitted on Pay Monthly Memberships;
5.8 A Pay Monthly Memberships cannot be shared between Members;
5.9 Should a Member wish to suspend their membership, they are permitted to do so for a period of 1 month only (from the 1st to the end of the month only); Members are only permitted to do this once a year, starting from when their membership activated. A £25 admin fee will be incurred. Written notice must be email to info@yogacollective.uk 14 days prior to the next payment date;
5.10 Pay Monthly Memberships must be paid irrespective whether or not the Member is choosing to attend scheduled classes;
5.11 We reserve the right to terminate any membership if Pay Monthly Members fail to comply with the outlined terms stated under Section 5. Pay Monthly Memberships.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
6.1 You acknowledge you are fully aware there are risks associated with the participation in a Class and you accept these associated risks;

6.2 You affirm that you are in good physical condition to participate in any physical activity at Yoga Collective and are aware that by participating in any class or workshop there is potential risk, which could result in serious injury or death;
​
6.3 All members are advised not to undertake a class or workshop at Yoga Collective without seeking medical advise especially should you have any concerns over your physical condition;
​
6.4 Members hereby agree to declare all injuries, illnesses, pregnancy and medication at the time of registration to Yoga Collective. Should a Members circumstances change at any point hereafter, you will make the Studio aware upon your next visit prior to taking your next class;

6.5 During class if you experience any feeling of light headiness or dizziness you must stop and rest. Only you are able to access how you’re feeling during a Class, you must listen to your own body;
​
6.6 Members with high / low blood pressure and / or cardiac irregularities, detached retina, HIV, who are very overweight / underweight or pregnant should not attend a classes at the Studio;
​
6.7 Members should not enter the Studio should they have any infectious, contagious illnesses (such as Covid-19) or disease;
​
6.8 Yoga Collective reserves the right to refuse Members entry to Class at their own discretion, should they have any concerns about the physical conditions of a Member, unless written permission is received from their doctor;
​
6.9 Members are required to follow the instruction of the instructor at all times when participating in a Class.
7. LIABILITY WAIVER
7.1 You understand that Yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated.
7.2 Yoga Collective cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, illness or in the worst case death which happens at the Studio or as a result of our facilities or services provided;
7.3 Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. You affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether or not to participate in a Class. You hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you have now or hereafter may have against Yoga Collective;
7.4 Yoga Collective nor its employees should be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft of Members personal property;
7.5 The Studio cannot be held responsible for any particular session, instructor and/or item of equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Studio reserves the right to make alterations to the sessions, instructors and/or equipment, as well as to those ancillary facilities (e.g. showers), provided to Members, without notice and in its absolute discretion and Yoga Collective will not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except insofar as such loss is by law incapable of exclusion.
8. CLASS ETIQUETTE
8.1 You must arrive on time for the Class you wish to participate in. If you have booked a Class and do not arrive on time, you risk losing your space to someone on the waitlist. If you are arrive within 5 minutes of the Class start time and the Class is not full, you may still enter the Class. If later, you will be turned away for your safety, as you will have missed the warm up;
8.2 All shoes should be removed upon entering the Studio;
8.3 Please keep body and feet clean when coming in to the Studio and out of courtesy to fellow students;
8.4 Attendance of a class is always subject to the Studio operating at a safe capacity. Priority is given to those who have booked a class in advance or on the waitlist and arrive on time.
9. SAFETY & HYGIENE
9.1 In the interests of Safety and Hygiene, no crockery, glass or food are permitted in the changing rooms or Studio practice area. Only water is permitted in these areas. No drinks with any colour are permitted in the Studio;
9.2 Members must not walk around the Studio barefoot if they have verrucae or similar foot complaints. In such cases, yoga socks, a bandage or similar covering must be worn;
9.3 Other than with the exception of Guide Dogs no pets are permitted in the Studio building or grounds;
9.4 No smoking is permitted on Yoga Collective premises.
10. DRESS
10.1 Members are requested to wear appropriate dress for the activity of Yoga. We recommend Members wear clothing such as leggings, T-Shirts and sports tops. Underwear or clothing, which goes transparent when wet will not be allowed;

10.2 Members should attend all sessions barefoot. All footwear should be removed before entry to the Studio. Verrucae or warts must be covered: socks or bandages to be worn;

10.3 Members should use a yoga mat covered with a towel or yoga sheet to practise in the Studio space. Mats are available from reception for a hire charge or may be purchased if required. The Company accepts no responsibility for the condition or the availability of the provided mats.
11. CHILDREN
11.1 No persons under the age of 16 are permitted to attend adult classes;

11.2 16 year olds are permitted to attend adult classes when accompanied by an adult;
11.3 All children attending 'Kid's / Teen Yoga' are required to have a Parent / Guardian sign a Parental Declaration;
11.4 Children over the age of seven may not enter changing rooms or other areas reserved for the opposite sex, regardless of whether they are accompanied by an adult or not.
12. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
12.1 Personal belongings are brought onto the Studio premises at the Member's own risk. Yoga Collective does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.
13. GENERAL
13.1 All Members must notify Yoga Collective of any changes of address, email or phone number. If changes aren’t received Yoga Collective will believe that all communications have been received;
13.2 Yoga Collective will communicate to Members via email and by giving us your email you consent to us communicating with you in this way. The Member also accepts the risk that email may not be a secure and confidential means of communication. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Member by email;
13.3 You agree to notify Yoga Collective if you believe there to be unauthorised activity on your Mindbody account or breach of security, but you are responsible for your Mindbody account and password;
13.4 Any abuse of the Mindbody online system will result in your membership being terminated;
13.5 Yoga Collective reserves the right to refuse admission to the Studio;
13.6 Members must at all times observe the Studio Guidelines and Code of Conduct which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the management of the Studio may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the Studio for the convenience of all Members;

13.7 Any marketing, educational or other materials of this nature whatsoever produced by Yoga Collective will at all times remain the property Yoga Collective and be subject to the Studio’s copyright;
13.8 If Yoga Collective choose to waive any breach of these Terms and Conditions this does not stop them following these Terms and Conditions at a later date.
14. DATA PROTECTION
14.1 Data Protection Act 1998, any of your personal information is your personal property and as such, we realise this places serious responsibility on us. Any personal information that is given to us will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy;

14.3 While we take all precautions to ensure your personal information is kept safe, we cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised access.
